Sparta Players Named To 2020 All-Division Football Squad

SPARTA, NJ - All-division, scholastic football players have been named by New Jersey’s Super Football Conference. With a total of 115 teams, the conference is the nation’s largest.

Sparta High School athletes made the cut with several players in the Patriot Blue division. In the First Team Offense category, sophomore quarterback Matt Frattura, senior skill player Brendan Cina, senior skill player Colby Plotts, senior offensive lineman Max Schelle and junior offensive lineman Billy Quinn got the nod.

Junior linebacker Paul Gennat and senior defensive back James Maloney were named to the First Team defensive unit.

“We’re always proud to announce our all-division teams, but given the circumstances of 2020, this year seems just a bit more special,” Super Football Conference President Rich Hanson said. “It’s wonderful that our athletes were given the opportunity to showcase their talents on the field. They’re richly deserving of this recognition.”
