Here's The Latest On Snow, Winter Weather In NJ

The National Weather Service has issued a new alert since snow, rain and sleet has fallen.

NEW JERSEY – Snow, sleet and rain had an impact on New Jersey on Tuesday as the National Weather Service issued a new alert during the afternoon hours, and as temperatures were supposed to drop. Black ice could become a problem.

A period of light to moderate snow was likely over the afternoon hours over southern New Jersey. Minor snowfall accumulations of up to one half inch are possible especially on grassy surfaces, the NWS said.

In addition, snowfall may briefly reduce visibility to near one mile. While accumulation on paved surfaces should be negligible, motorists should exercise caution when traveling in snow.
