The Veritas Christian Academy girls basketball team has reached dynasty status with its 5th straight year as Metro Conference league and tournament champions. With only one conference loss on their record, over the past half decade, the Veritas girls have not only made a habit of winning, but have dominated the league.

Sophomore guard Caitlin O’Malley took home league MVP honors. Juniors Mackenzie Morrison and Zoey Torppey, along with senior Emmy Mulder, were named conference all stars. Along with the girls, the Veritas boys basketball team had juniors Nick Jetton and Ben Ryan named to the all star team.

Coach Armand Milansi, in his second year as head coach for the girls’ team, has more work to do after the league title as the Veritas girls head the National Christian School Athletic Association tournament in Ohio on March 1 to defend their title as the Division 3 national champions from a year ago.
