When Is Santa Claus Coming To Hopatcong-Sparta?

Get ready, because Santa Claus is coming to Hopatcong-Sparta! This holiday season, the man in red is spreading holiday joy all over town. So get those wishlists ready, be on your best behavior (Santa knows if you've been bad or good!) and mark your calendar. German Christmas Market

When: Friday, Dec. 1 - Sunday, Dec. 3
Where: Sussex County Fairgrounds, 37 Plains Rd., Augusta, NJ 07822
What: Just a short drive from Sparta, the German Christmas Market of New Jersey promises festive fun all weekend long. Mr. and Mrs. Claus will be on-site for all kinds of activities, from wagon parades to Christmas storytime. Home for the Holidays Festival

When: Saturday, Dec. 2
Where: Roxbury Public Library (and the two churches next door), 103 Main St., Succasanna, NJ 07878
What: Down the road, Roxbury Township is hosting a free "Home for the Holidays" festival that celebrates Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and the winter season. Santa will arrive by firetruck at 11:05 a.m. at the Library gazebo for photos; you can schedule your slot online or walk in for a picture starting at 12:30 p.m. The event will also include live entertainment, food and drinks for sale, crafts, stories and more. Santa in the Park

When: Saturday, Dec. 9
Where: Modick Park, 28 Hopatchung Rd., Hopatcong, NJ 07843
What: Modick Park transforms into a holiday market, with free hot cocoa, cookies and ornaments for the little ones. The event runs from 2:00-4:00 p.m., with Santa scheduled to arrive at dusk. Click here for more info.
