National Night Out Event Canceled In Howell

HOWELL, NJ — The stormy forecast for Tuesday evening has prompted Howell Township authorities to cancel the National Night Out event.

"Unfortunately, due to impending bad weather, National Night Out 2024 will be CANCELLED this evening," the Howell Township Police Athletic League announced. "We are sorry we will not be able to host this great community event for you, but please stay tuned and check our pages for what we have coming soon for you all."

The National Weather Service Mount Holly office forecasters say there is a significant potential for thunderstorms beginning in the early afternoon, with an 80 percent chance of rain.
