Seabrook Treatment Center

Today I happened to be going to Sandy Paws grooming center in Shrewsbury when I saw large crowd assembled. When I looked into it there were people shouting about "keep our children safe". Governor Christie was at the ribbon cutting for this new facility for families in need of support for drug and alcohol treatment. I am not a fan of the Governor but feel that his heart is in the right place with this issue. The drug problem is out of control and I understand that families may be worried having "these people" near their children. People suffering from the DISEASE of Addiction are looking for help and support. We as a community need to understand that. I doubt there is a family that has not been touched in some way with the disease of alcoholism or addiction, and if by chance you have not been affected count your blessings.
