Vehicle Breakins in Little Silver
Twenty two or more vehicles were either broken into or left unlocked
Very early Saturday morning January 5, 2019, approximately 2:30 AM, there was a string of incidents involving burglaries of unlocked vehicles in the Winding Way area of Little Silver. One Range Rover was reported as stolen. Little Silver Police have posted a warning notice on the Boro's website to lock all vehicles at all times even ones in garages. Remove all keys and valuables. Neighbors have provided video recordings from security systems as well. One neighbor had purse taken from which cash was stolen and then left curbside in a puddle of water.
All residents in the area should heed the warnings.
