LIVINGSTON, NJ — Livingston's coronavirus case count continues to rise, according to statistics released Friday.

Essex County released its latest case and death totals on Jan. 15, including data for Livingston. The county noted that its daily report may not match state or municipal totals (here's why).

Livingston has seen 1,175 cumulative COVID-19 cases, a 5.76 percent increase since last week. There have been 79 deaths linked to the disease in the township, which has 30,303 residents, according to the most recent estimate from the U.S. Census.
