ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — Are you an Essex County homeowner with a Victorian-style house in need of renovation? It might just be your ticket to 15 minutes of fame.

On Friday, the Montclair Historical Society announced that Leopard USA, a production company that specializes in programs for HGTV, sent the organization a flyer looking for Essex County homeowners that want to be part of a “new exciting home renovation TV project.”

“They asked if we knew anyone with a turn of the century (19th into 20th) home that wanted some renovations done,” the historical society stated. “We said that probably applies to about 50 percent of Montclair homeowners.”
