Two Affordable Housing Homes For Sale In Livingston; 4 Counties Get Preference

LIVINGSTON, NJ — While Livingston, NJ has several million-dollar homes for sale and an average household income of $161,952, there is affordable housing for residents who qualify, including two homes that will be available next year.

Any eligible New Jersey household can apply for the homes, but preference will be given to residents or workers in Essex, Morris, Union, and Warren counties.

One home in the duplex building is reserved for low-income families ($48,427 salary for a family of three) and will cost approximately $180,o00. A house for moderate-income families ($77,483 for a family of three) will run for about $220,000.

The homes include a single car garage, a washer and dryer, and more. Certain pets are allowed, for fee.
