The new apartment building would be called Branchport Crossing; the Asbury Park Press has a rendering of how the new apartment building will look. The developer intends to tear down the buildings that are at 336 Branchport Avenue now, and build all new from the ground up.

The architect is Monteforte Architectural Studio, located in Ocean Township. It's the same architect that designed Renaissance on the Ocean, Ocean Villas, Riverview Villas and Excelsior Al Mare, all in Long Branch.

This would be 48 apartments above street-level retail. Here is the site application Galway Builders submitted Feb. 20 to the Long Branch Planning Board: https://www.longbranch.org/Age...

More apartments coming to Brighton Avenue: Separately, another developer would like to build a three-story addition onto the existing one-story office building at 112 Brighton Avenue. The addition would have a total of four one-bedroom residential apartments on the second and third floors combined, plus street-level retail.
