Avenue at Pier Village Debuts New Menus for Spring & Summer Season

Let summer at the beach begin! From familiar classics to innovative creations, there's something for everyone.

May 6, 2024, Long Branch, NJ - Avenue, Pier Village’s French brasserie meets St. Tropez bistro, is pleased to debut their new menus as they kick off the 2024 season.


Avenue’s new Dinner, Lunch, Brunch, and Cocktail menus have been meticulously crafted with passion and innovation. Available depending on the time of day, these expertly curated menus ensure there's something to satisfy every craving and delight every palate.


“We aim to treat our guests to authentic cuisine in a lively atmosphere, while offering genuine hospitality, and we’re excited to showcase both our new dishes as well as our well-known classics, alongside a stellar cocktail menu,” said Amnon Pick, Director of Operations at Avenue.
From familiar classics to innovative creations, there's something for everyone. Guests will find new and decadent dishes such as Seafood Bucatini, Braised Lamb Shank, Creamy Morel Risotto, to classic staples such as the Moules Frites and Steak Tartare, which have been updated and perfected to exceed expectations that keep guests returning to enjoy their Avenue favorites.
Guests can look forward to new sharable seafood appetizers, entrées and cocktails highlighting fresh, high-quality ingredients. Start with the Fruits de Mersection featuring Crab Cocktail and Snow Crab Legs paired with mustard and cocktail sauce; or try the Burrata with seasonal ingredients including basil pesto, heirloom tomatoes, arugula and aged balsamic. Succulent new entrees include Scallops with pea puree, smoked bacon, and verjus emulsion; and Beef Bourguignon featuring short rib, pommes purée, bacon lardons, mushrooms, and pearl onions.
Partake in the Cocktail menu’s refreshing selection such as Happy Watermelon made with Hendrick’s Gin, watermelon purée, fresh lime juice, tonic water, and mint leaves; or sip on the Avenue Breeze made with Stateside Vodka, Aperol, coconut water, passion fruit purée, fresh lemon juice, orange bitters, and nutmeg.

Avenue’s new menus are created by John Suley, A graduate of the prestigious Culinary Institute of America, John’s 25+ years of culinary leadership experience has spanned some of the most respected brands in the industry, including Ritz-Carlton, The Watergate, Waldorf-Astoria, St. Regis; and Alize at The Palms in Las Vegas, where his team earned a Michelin Star. He has worked with many renowned chefs, including Daniel Boulud, Laurent Gras, Gray Kunz, and Alfred Portale, and has been recognized for his unique culinary vision and leadership with several nominations and awards, including being named James Beard Foundation nominee “Rising Star Chef of American Cuisine.”


The execution of Avenue’s new culinary offerings will be led by onsite Executive Chef Michael Lioudis. Fueled by an insatiable passion for cooking, Michael honed his skills and knowledge at Johnson & Wales University, where he mastered the intricacies of culinary artistry and gourmet innovation. Embarking on a culinary odyssey spanning over two and a half decades, Michael has graced kitchens up and down the East Coast, leaving an indelible mark of culinary brilliance wherever he goes. Most recently, Chef Michael Lioudis has led the kitchen at Icona in Avalon.
