Back-To-School Donation Drive For Eatontown Schoolchildren

Last August, Ocean Avenue School in Middletown and Meadowbrook School in Eatontown held "Shopping Nights" for families in need:

EATONTOWN, NJ — For the fifth year in a row, IMA Urgent Care & Primary Care is hosting a back-to-school supply drive to benefit local schoolchildren.

IMA’s Back-To-School Supply Drive will run from Aug. 5 - Aug. 16. Donations can be dropped off during business hours to:

  • Chapel Hill Family Medicine, 100 Village Court, Hazlet
  • Family Practice of Middletown, 18 Leonardville Road, Middletown
  • Hazlet Family Care, 3253 Route 35 North, Hazlet
  • Red Bank Family Medicine – Maple Avenue, 231 Maple Avenue, Red Bank
  • Red Bank Family Medicine – Gilbert Street, 35 Gilbert Street South, Tinton Falls
  • Red Bank Medical, 175 Patterson Avenue, Shrewsbury
  • IMA Pediatrics, 231 Maple Avenue, Red Bank
  • IMA Urgent Care – Middletown, 363 Route 36, Middletown
  • IMA Urgent Care – Shrewsbury, 1026 Broad Street, Shrewsbury

Over the past four years, IMA patients and staff have generously donated more than 10,000 school supplies. Last year’s recipients, Ocean Avenue School in Middletown and Meadowbrook School in Eatontown held "Shopping Nights" where students and parents could pick out much-needed supplies.

"IMA recognizes the need for children to have the supplies and tools to help them be successful in school. That's why we started our annual back-to-school supply drive," said IMA President and Family Practice of Middletown physician Dr. Roger Thompson.

"We are always grateful to our patients and staff who generously donate thousands of supplies. And we know they will go to good use," he added.
