Daniel John Sullivan of Eatontown passed away at UPenn Medical Center with his wife Sharon and sons Daniel and Thomas at his side. He was 52.

Danny was a multifaceted man who was as adept and talented in the kitchen as he was skilled at carpentry. There was no recipe he wouldn't attempt (whether he ate it or not) and no piece of wood he couldn't make into a thing of beauty. His impeccable craftsmanship graces the homes of nearly all his family, many of his friends and innumerable customers. He cherished his family and his friendships and was renowned for helping anyone who needed it.

Danny was the youngest of six children and deeply loved by his family, extended family and in-laws. He closely resembled his late father in looks, voice and liberal politics. He loved spending time with his parents and Sunday bagel breakfasts together were of particular enjoyment to him. "Uncle Danny" was a favorite of his many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

Growing up in Tinton Falls Danny forged lifelong friendships with the other kids who lived in "the neighborhood", especially Dave Epstein. His first dog, Pokie, grew up alongside him and was his sidekick for many years.

Danny was a merry prankster, his quick wit and sense of humor, intact til the end, was a source of laughter to all who knew him.

Danny and the love of his life, Sharon, married on November 3, 1990. Together they created a beautiful home which grew to include their sons Daniel and Thomas. Daniel earned his Eagle Scout rank in November with the guidance and support of Danny. Thomas is following suit with scouting and is a talented musician. Of their marriage and family, Danny would tell Sharon, "Our greatest accomplishment is us". Danny's wish for his sons is to "Follow their hearts and do what they love." His boys will carry their beloved Dad in their hearts for always.

Throughout their life together Danny and Sharon loved to travel with family and friends. Their favorite place of all was Turks and Caicos and it is to Turks and Caicos where Danny requested some of his ashes be brought.

"Always loved you, always will" is what Danny and Sharon said to each other. He was Sharon's best friend and soulmate.

He was a wonderful, loving son, beloved brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend and absolutely adoring father and husband.

Danny was predeceased by his father, James and is survived by his mother Ellen, wife Sharon, sons Daniel and Thomas, siblings Patricia (James), James, Madeleine, Katherine, and Mark (Tara), mother in law Ruth Fargo, brother in law Ernest Fargo (Jennifer), nieces and nephews and many friends.
