DWI Checkpoints Planned For This Weekend In Monmouth County

The Monmouth County DWI Task Force will be conducting two DWI checkpoints beginning on Friday night.

MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ — The Monmouth County DWI Task Force will be conducting two DWI checkpoints this weekend.

The first checkpoint will be in Monmouth Beach from 10 p.m. on Friday to 2 a.m. on Saturday.

All southbound vehicles on Ocean Avenue will be diverted to the Monmouth Beach Cultural Center, where all drivers will be screened for sobriety.

The second checkpoint will be in Sea Girt from 9 p.m. on Saturday to 1 a.m. on Sunday. All southbound vehicles on Route 71 will be diverted into the Sea Girt Professional Building, where all drivers will be screened for sobriety.

During both checkpoints, officers from the local towns will be working alongside Task Force members.
