Eatontown Public Schools Earn High-Performing Designation From State

Eatontown Public Schools has achieved a designation as a "high-performing" district by the New Jersey state Department of Education.

EATONTOWN, NJ — Eatontown Public Schools has achieved a designation as a "high-performing" district by the New Jersey state Department of Education.

In February of 2022, Eatontown public schools underwent the New Jersey Quality Single Accountability Continuum (NJ QSAC) review conducted by the Monmouth County Executive Superintendent’s Office.

The district received high scores in all five of the key areas of review and the Commissioner of Education will recommend to the State Board of Education that Eatontown Public Schools be certified as providing a thorough and efficient system of education, and the district be designated as a “high-performing” district.

Eatontown Public Schools achieved high scores in all five key areas of the NJ QSAC review. The five key areas are: Instruction and Program, Fiscal Management, Governance, Operations and Personnel.

NJ QSAC is a review conducted every three years for every district in the state. To achieve "high-performing" designation, districts must receive scores of 80% or higher in each of five categories.

A school district must satisfy at least 80% of the weighted indicators; the Eatontown school district earned the following scores:

Instruction and Program 85%
Fiscal Management 98%
Governance 100%
Operations 98%
Personnel 100%

The Eatontown Public School district is a high-performing district located in central New Jersey not far from the Jersey Shore. This diverse, suburban district has one middle school and three elementary schools serving approximately 960 students in pre-school through 8th grade. The district’s vision is to develop a community of lifelong learners where children have healthy self-esteem, respect and compassion for others, essential and technological knowledge, and the creative problem-solving skills needed to meet the challenge of successful citizenship in an ever-changing, multi-cultural, global society.
