EATONTOWN, NJ - A crash and downed utility pole on Route 35 in Eatontown have prompted commuting delays Friday morning, authorities said.

As of 9:15 a.m., there’s a crash with injuries and a utility pole down on Rt. 35 southbound in the vicinity of CR 537/Tinton Avenue in Eatontown, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.

One right lane is closed; there is a 5- to 10-minute delay, the agency said.
