Long Branch Boy, 12, Is Missing, County Prosecutor Says

LONG BRANCH, NJ — Update: The boy was found safely.

At about 10 a.m. Tuesday, the Monmouth County prosecutor put up a public Facebook post about a Long Branch boy, 12, who is currently missing.

The child is John Wylie, 12, last seen at around 10 p.m. Monday, March 22 in the area of 186 Coleman Avenue in Long Branch. If seen, please contact Long Branch Police Department 732-222-1000.

He was last seen wearing a black Champion jacket, black and red Puma sneakers, wearing a black bandanna on his head and carrying an Adidas satchel. The boy may have also been riding a black scooter.
