LONG BRANCH, NJ — The City passed a law creating a permit system for commercial vehicles. Commercial vehicles on any city street between 8 p.m. and 7 a.m. must have a Commercial Vehicle Parking Permit.

As of Jan. 1, Long Branch will give commercial-vehicle owners 60 days to comply. Then the City will issue tickets.

Permits cost $25 per year. Click here to apply. The fee is based on how much it costs for the city to operate the system, according to officials.
