Long Branch, Neptune Boys Win Snowplow-Naming Contest

Keep an eye out for "Snow Force 1" and "Fast & The Flurrious" on the roads this winter!

LONG BRANCH, NJ — Boys from Long Branch and Neptune City just won the naming rights this winter in Monmouth County's first-ever Snowplow Naming Contest.

"Snow Force 1" was submitted by Viego Vieira of Amerigo A. Anastasia Elementary in Long Branch and "Fast & The Flurrious" was submitted by Kaden Felder of Woodrow Wilson School in Neptune City.

“I would like to congratulate Viego and Kaden on their winning submissions to our Snowplow Naming Contest,” said Commissioner Director Tom Arnone. “We received hundreds of submissions from schools all across Monmouth County and we couldn’t choose just one winner, so we decided to name two snowplows this year.”
