NJ Bikers Drop Off Toys At Children's Hospital In Long Branch

Toys for sick kids were collected at Simply Southern in Belmar, Sissy's at the Harbor and Shoreline Harley-Davidson in West Long Branch.

LONG BRANCH, NJ — This Sunday, more than 200 motorcycle riders from the Blue Knights NJ XV and Jersey Shore HOGs will ride their bikes to Monmouth Medical Center. There, they will deliver hundreds of toys to brighten the beginning of the holiday season for pediatric patients at Unterberg Children's Hospital.

The ride will begin at the Shore Casino in Atlantic Highlands. This is the 13th year they have done the toy drive and the ride.

When the motorcyclists arrive at the hospital at approximately 10:30 a.m. Sunday, they will gather in the parking lot and unload a trailer full of toys that have been collected over the last month. They will be met by Dr. Jonathan Teitelbaum, chair of pediatrics at Monmouth Medical Center.
