Pier Village's Outdoor Ice Skating Rink Returns This November

LONG BRANCH, NJ — A unique and beloved tradition of wintertime in the Jersey Shore will return this year:

The outdoor ice skating rink at Pier Village in Long Branch will return and re-open for the season Nov. 25.

The rink will be open Nov. 25 - Feb. 26 this winter. The rink is owned and operated by Flight Entertainment. Rink hours are: Thursday 4-8 p.m.; Friday - 4 -10 p.m.; Saturday 11 am - 10 p.m.; Sunday 11 am - 6 p.m., with expanded holiday hours and weather permitting.

Single general admission tickets to skate are $12.00, with $10.00 skate rentals plus taxes & fees from December 16 - January 2 for peak holiday hours, and $10.00 and $8.00 for all other sessions.

Ice at Pier Village transforms the iconic Festival Plaza beachfront grounds into a winter wonderland perfect for community gatherings of all ages. The rink features include a full-size recreational outdoor skating rink, affordable skate rentals, on-site parking, festive music, lighting & decor, warm beverages courtesy of Coney Waffle, Santa events and themed skate parties.

The rink is surrounded by the more than 30 shops, boutiques, bars and restaurants that make up Pier Village.

Weekly events include: Thank You Thursdays honoring essential workers and for all Monmouth County residents with buy-one-get-one half off specials, and Skating Under the Stars on Fridays with a discount on 2-packs — perfect for a couple’s night out or a Dad Daughter skate. Saturday Night Socials geared toward school students will transform the rink into a colorful glow party with music and themed entertainment, and Sunday Family Fundays will feature a special discounted 4-pack ticket bundle, including complimentary offerings, activities and themes that will enhance your overall family experience.

Pier Village's Tree Lighting Ceremony will be Nov. 27; they will have New Year’s Eve Spectacular Fireworks Display, Sounds by the Sea, pet photo days and pop up Holiday Craft & Artisan markets.
