A Portion Of Broadway Will Be Closed Tuesday Afternoon.

LONG BRANCH, NJ – The city of Long Branch announced that a section of Broadway would be closed Tuesday night for the town’s National Night Out.

From 3 to 10 p.m. on Aug. 3, Broadway between Fifth and Seventh Avenues will be closed to all traffic so that the Long Branch Police Department can hold its National Night Out, which is an event that brings together the police and the community that it serves for a night of fun and games.

Tuesday’s free event will be at Slocum Park from 6-9 p.m, and there will be food and refreshments, a dunk tank, a DJ, a rock climbing wall, a gaga pit, giveaways, a K-9 demonstration, a prize wheel, and more.
