Portion Of Route 36 To Be Closed Overnight This Week For Paving

The southbound side of Route 36 between Routes 71 and 35 will be closed overnights this week for paving.

EATONTOWN, NJ – New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) officials announced on Tuesday that there would be overnight lane closures on the southbound side of Route 36 from Eatontown to West Long Branch this week for pavement repairs.

Beginning at 9 p.m. on July 6 until 5 a.m. the next day and continuing each night through July 8, both southbound lanes of Route 36 will be closed with traffic shifted to the shoulder to make pavement repairs between Routes 71 and 35 in Eatontown and West Long Branch, one lane of traffic being maintained by using the shoulder.
