39 local high school students preparing to turn their tassels were recently named Student Scholars at Seabrook, an Erickson Senior Living community in Tinton Falls, NJ.

These select student workers, who held positions as servers, hosts, and hostesses across the community’s on-campus restaurants, displayed an unwavering commitment to service and excellence.

To recognize their dedication and propel their promising futures, community residents generously donated $529,000 to the Student Scholarship Fund. At the Student Scholar ceremony on June 8, student workers were granted $12,000 scholarships to support their pursuit of a college or trade school education. In addition, Seabrook awarded an additional $61,000 in donor-designated named scholarships.

“Thank you to all the residents who donated! These awards set our student workers up for success,” said Philanthropy Manager Ann Marie Matthews. “Our high school students really contribute to the warm, vibrant atmosphere at Seabrook. We wish them the best on their journeys ahead.”
