Seabrook Voted Best Retirement Community for 7th Year in a Row!

The community won six other Asbury Park Press awards, including Best Place to Work.

Seabrook, an Erickson Senior Living-managed community in Tinton Falls, New Jersey, won seven 2023 Asbury Park Press "Best of the Best" Awards. Seabrook was voted Best Retirement Community for the seventh consecutive year in Monmouth County. In addition, the community won Best Place to Work, Best Assisted Living/Senior Living, Best Nursing Home, Best Apartment Complex, Best Eco-Friendly/Green Business, and Top Boss-Executive Director Jen McNamara.

Awards were handed out at a red carpet gala on November 15 at the iPlay America Event Center in Freehold, NJ. Every year, the newspaper polls the local community to select the best businesses and organizations in the area. Readers and community members cast more than 155,000 votes in 185 categories.

"We're thrilled to be recognized as the best retirement community for the seventh year in a row and to be the "Best of the Best" in six other categories, including Best Place to Work," said Executive Director Jen McNamara. "Seabrook is committed to fulfilling its promises to residents and employees of creating a vibrant lifestyle and work environment, providing financial stability and benefits to those who live and work here, and making health and well-being a priority.

Vice President of Regional Operations Melinda Dechert stated, "Congratulations to Jen on winning the well-earned Top Boss award. Jen is a connected, respected, and highly collaborative leader devoted to building strong relationships with the team members and the residents she serves."

Seabrook is celebrating its milestone 25th anniversary in 2023. The community recently renovated its Town Square Clubhouse to enhance the resident and employee experience, including a brand-new restaurant, Essex Pub. The community is updating its Village Center Clubhouse this Year with a new dining venue, The Cove, and a well-being center with massage and acupuncture services.
