Jewish Center's 'Menorahcade' To Roll Through Bergen Co. For Hanukkah
A parade of menorah-topped cars will travel through Glen Rock, Wyckoff, Franklin Lakes and Mahwah for the town-wide menorah lightings.
BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A local Jewish community center is rolling through four Bergen County towns with a parade of menorah-topped cars for the town-wide menorah lightings next weekend.
Sponsored by the Northwest Bergen County Chabad Jewish Center, the "Menorahcade," carrying electric, car-top menorahs, will travel through Glen Rock, Wyckoff, Franklin Lakes, and Mahwah, on Sunday, Dec. 18, the center's Rabbi Chanoch Kaplan said.
Celebrations of the Jewish holiday will include a 9-foot menorah lighted by local officials, dreidels dropped by parachute from fire truck ladders, and traditional holiday drinks served hot from a kosher food truck free of charge, Kaplan said.

Other celebrations at Chabad will include an adult Hanukkah party at 8 p.m. on Dec. 24, and a tie-dye party for families at 11 a.m. on Dec. 25.
