Individuals interested in competing in the car show can register day of the event for $10 which will include food. Trophies to be awarded to winning contestants. 
Spectators can view a variety of exciting automobiles on the grounds of Pines Village, and also take an open house tour of the renovated campus.

EAA 898 will host Young Eagles flights on September 14 At Ocean County Airport
YOUNG EAGLES FLIGHT RALLY Berkeley Township September 14— Area young people ages 8-17 will have a chance to take to the skies on Saturday, September 14 , as Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) Chapter 898, the Ocean County Chapter, hosts a Young Eagles Flight Rally at Ocean County Airport, formerly known as Robert J. Miller Airpark. Rain date is September 15, 2024. The rally is part of the EAA Young Eagles Program, created to interest young people in aviation. Since the program was launched in 1992, Volunteer EAA pilots have flown more than 2 million young people who reside in more than 90 countries. “Free airplane rides are just part of the Flight Rally,” said Kurt Stofko, spokesman for the event. “We hope to build one-to-one relationships between pilots and young people, giving a new generation a chance to learn more about the possibilities that exist in the world of aviation.” Pilots at the event will also explain more about their airplanes allowing young people to discover how airplanes work and how pilots ensure safety is the prime concern before every flight. Following the flight, each young person, will receive a certificate making them an official Young Eagle. Their name will then be entered into the “World’s Largest Logbook,” which is on permanent display at the EAA Air Adventure Museum in Oshkosh, WI. The Logbook is also accessible on the Internet at <a href="https://www.youngeagles.org/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">www.youngeagles.org</a>. In addition to the Certificate the new Young Eagle will be given a Logbook with an access code for a complete free online Flight Training course offered by Sporty’s. EAA members volunteer their time, fuel and aircraft so the flights can be provided free of charge for interested young people. Parents may register their children by going to <a href="https://www.youngeaglesday.org/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">www.youngeaglesday.org</a> and registering their children on line for the event. Those attending the flight rally on September 16 are asked come to the airport terminal, starting at 9:00 AM to sign in for their flight. Flights will begin at 9:00 AM, children will be flown on a first come first order. Allowances will also be made for weight and balance on flight order. If flights are cancelled due to weather our rain date is the next day. Legal parent or guardian must attend to sign paperwork.
