MAPLEWOOD, NJ — Maplewood has increased frequency of jitney stops in the township and South Orange after NJ Transit announced that the Morris & Essex lines will offer limited stops through the end of the day Friday, and possibly over the weekend.

After heavy winds knocked down a tree in Maplewood on Monday and damaged rail equipment, train service was temporarily suspended, then returned only to certain rail stops. The modified NJ Transit train schedules are here.
