Colts Neck, NJ - The real estate market ebbs and flows, especially in New Jersey, but 2015 saw an uptick in home sales and prices.

The New Jersey Division of Taxation, under the state Department of Treasury, released data on the average sale price – not listing price or assessed price – for all homes sold in the state in 2015. The average sale price in Colts Neck was $904,704, and Marlboro at $499,102.

Middletown was $414,251; Holmdel Township at $677,290 and Hazlet Township at $313,127.

See the complete list of towns in New Jersey here, organized by county. Spring Lake was ranked the most expensive town in Monmouth County, according to that list, with the average home selling for $1.8 million last year.
