MOORESTOWN, NJ — Homes in Moorestown have the highest average value in Burlington County. And the township is one of only two in the county with homes that average a higher price than the state's as a whole.

Last week, the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs (NJDCA) published its latest tax tables, which are based on 2022 data. The data includes the average residential-property value in each municipality and county.

The average New Jersey home is valued at $351,702, according to state data. In Moorestown, homes average a value of $459,396.

Statewide, Moorestown's home values rank 150th-highest out of 564 cities and towns.

The average residential property in Burlington County is valued at $240,040. Only Moorestown and Chesterfield Township ($392,637) have higher averages on home values than New Jersey.

Beverly had the lowest average in Burlington County, at $126,599.
