Morristown Easter Egg Hunt Promises Magic Show, Goodie Bags, And More

The Easter Bunny will also hop on by for this "eggs-tra" special event.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — There is plenty of fun for families on the agenda for this year's Morristown Easter Egg Hunt.

The event will be Saturday, March 23 at Lidgerwood Park. Children can grab a goodie bag at 10 a.m., and then at 10:15 a.m. there will be activities including a magic show, pictures with the Easter Bunny, and the chance to browse local sports organization tables.

The egg hunt begins promptly at 11 a.m., and kids will be separated into three age groups. Afterwards, look through your basket to check for specialty eggs.

Another "egg-citing" event this month is the Easter Bunny Express, a themed train ride departing from the Whippany Railway Museum on March 23, 24, and 30. The Easter Bunny will be greeting guests during a 45-minute round trip along the historic Whippanong Trail, and the train crew will hand out holiday treats for the kids.
