More Newark Buildings Open For Affordable Housing Applications

Newark residents will get priority at these three buildings. Here's how to apply for an apartment.

NEWARK, NJ — Newark has seen several affordable housing waiting lists open at local buildings this week, including properties on Court Street, Sussex Avenue and McWhorter Street.

City officials recently announced that applications are being taken for affordable housing units at 65 McWhorter Street. People can apply online here, or they can email [email protected] or call (551) 296-7770 for more information.

Earlier this week, two other affordable housing opportunities opened up: 145 Court Street and 50 Sussex Avenue.
