How Much Snow Did New Brunswick Get?

There were a couple accidents on the Garden State Parkway Monday afternoon (none fatal), and a car flipped over on Rt. 18.

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — From the National Weather Service, here are the final snow counts for Middlesex County and the New Brunswick area.

As normally happens, the Northwest corner of New Jersey (Sussex County) got the most snow: 32 inches was recorded in Newton and 30 inches in Sparta, making for the most snowfall in the nor'easter snowstorm.

New Brunswick public schools are still all virtual, but had an early dismissal Monday and Tuesday, Feb. 1 and 2.

There were a couple accidents on the Garden State Parkway Monday afternoon (none fatal), and the Monmouth County sheriff shared this photo of a car flipped over on Rt. 18 in Colts Neck (the driver was also not seriously injured in that car flip). So far, there have also been no major reported power outages
