New Brunswick Pedestrian Hit And Killed By Driver

A 32-year-old New Brunswick man was hit and killed by a car shortly after midnight Wednesday in New Brunswick:

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — A 32-year-old New Brunswick man was hit and killed by a car shortly after midnight Wednesday in New Brunswick, said Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and New Brunswick Police Chief Vincent Sabo.

At 12:48 a.m. Thursday, authorities responded to the area of Townsend Street following a report of a pedestrian struck by a car. Upon arrival, officers located Boyer.

The man has been identified as Jarred Boyer, 38, of New Brunswick

He was struck by a car driven by a 32-year-old New Brunswick man, whose name was not released by the prosecutor.

Boyer sustained serious injuries and was transported to Robert Wood Hospital where he was ultimately pronounced dead.
