A man, 26, who works as a recreation assistant at a New Brunswick summer program is accused of having inappropriate contact with a minor:

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — A 26-year-old man who works as a recreation assistant at a summer program in New Brunswick had inappropriate sexual contact with a 16-year-old fellow counselor at the camp, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone said Friday afternoon.

Dwany Cruz, 26, of New Brunswick, is accused of having inappropriate sexual contact with a minor on several occasions while employed in the rec program, said the prosecutor.

He is charged with third-degree endangering the welfare of a child.

Cruz surrendered Thursday to the New Brunswick Police Department.
