Street Closures, Parking Rules For Sunday's Ciclovia In New Brunswick

Three miles of city streets will be closed to vehicular traffic for Sunday's event in New Brunswick.

Ciclovia will be held Sunday in New Brunswick.

Three miles of city streets will be closed to vehicular traffic for the event, including:

  • College Avenue
  • Hamilton Street
  • George Street
  • Paterson Street
  • Bayard Street
  • Joyce Kilmer Avenue

Streets will be open for activities, including biking, walking, jogging, and skateboarding. Activity stations will also be set up along the route.

The event runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

City workers will start setting up street closures at 7 a.m. Sunday. Full closures will be in effect by about 10 a.m. and roads will start to re-open around 4 p.m.

On-street parking is prohibited on the route. Tow-away zones will be in effect, starting at 7 a.m. Sunday.

Vehicles will be allowed to cross some major intersections at the direction of police, who will be posted along the route.
