Bergen Natives Open County's First Brewery: Report

Two Bergen County residents opened the county’s first brewery, Brix City Brewing, in Little Ferry last month.

“The more people come in here and learn about craft beer, the better it is,” co-owner Joe Delcalzo told NJ.com.

The company is currently offering 10 in-house brewed beers, from a Belgian blonde ale to an American IPA.

All the beer is made on-site and self-distributed to local bars and restaurants, NJ.com reported. They can be found at The Office Beer Bar & Grill in Ridgewood, New York Wing Factory in Fort Lee, and The Heights Bar & Grill in Hasbrouck Heights.

Delcalzo told NJ.com the company wants to expand distribution and grow the business.
