Herman C. Mueller, 81, Of New Milford, Army Veteran, Died

NEW MILFORD, NJ — Herman C. Mueller was a 52-year resident of New Milford. He was a proud veteran and was a dedicated family man.

Mueller died Wednesday. He was 81, his obituary states.

Mueller was born in Frankenberg, Germany and immigrated to the United States in 1958. He lived in Union City before moving to New Milford in 1967.

He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army.

He was a printer for many years and opened his own business, HC Graphics, in 1979, his obituary states.

Mueller enjoyed radio-controlled boating, camping, hiking, gardening, model railroading, home maintenance projects, and spending him in Long Beach Island.

He was a dedicated family who cherished time spent with his loved ones, his obituary states.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Carol, sons Christopher and Thomas, grandchildren Matthew and Samantha, sister-in-law, Lorraine Kachel, and many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.

Visitation is Friday from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Volk Leber Funeral Home in Oradell. A celebration of Mueller's life is at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial is Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's R.C. Church in Oradell. Cremation will be private.
