New Milford Track Coach 'Hap' Harrison Inducted Into Hall Of Fame
Harrison won 5 league championships, a state championship and 3 county championships.
NEW MILFORD, NJ — Ray "Hap" Harrison, one of the most legendary coaches in New Milford High School history, is a hall of famer.
The New Jersey Scholastic Coaches Association honored 35 people, including Harrison, at its annual Hall of Fame awards program Sunday. The programs honors coaches from all sports from public and private secondary schools.
Harrison finished his 31-year boys track coaching career with a 250-73-1 record. He won five league championships, a state sectional championship, two county relay championships and a county group championship.

The hall of fame program is run in cooperation with the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association, the governing body for the state high school athletic programs.
