Nightmare On River Road Haunted House Is Back In New Milford

Will you survive New Milford's scariest Halloween attraction? Maybe you already have. Want to visit it again? You can soon.

NEW MILFORD, NJ — The scariest attraction in New Milford Is back.

The Nightmare on River Road haunted house reopens Saturday. It is billed as Bergen County's premier haunted attraction.

More than 100 volunteers, including set builders, contractors, electricians, and landscapers, helped transform the house at 854 River Road into an 8,500-square-foot attraction with several rooms attendees are led through. Ticket proceeds will be donated to local Boy Scout troops.

The haunted house is open on Fridays and Saturdays from 6 to 10 p.m. and Sundays from 4 to 8 p.m. in October.

The house is located behind the Brookchester stores. Tickets cost $20 at the door and online at nightmareonriverroad.com.
