Ramsey Couple to Adopt Malnourished Dog Found in Paterson Last Month

A Ramsey couple will adopt Bunny, a tan-and-white pit bull mix, that was found malnourished in a Paterson park.

A Ramsey couple is set to adopt a starved dog that was found in a Paterson park last month.

The couple didn’t think they were ready for another dog after theirs had died, but changed their minds once they saw pictures of Bunny, a tan-and-white pit bull mix, NorthJersey.com reported.

Bunny was found last month in Paterson’s Eastside Park with her brother, Bugsy, and has since gained more than 11 pounds while at Second Chance Pet Adoption. But Bugsy, unfortunately, had to be put down shortly after being rescued.

Bunny will be adopted by the Ramsey couple, who currently own a cat, next week.

“We’re confident it’ll be a good home for her,” Stephanie Pearl of Second Chance Pet Adoption said told NorthJersey.com.
