NEW MILFORD, NJ — A school bus carrying an eight-year-old student and two adults collided with a minivan at a New Milford intersection around 9 a.m. Thursday, Police Chief Brian Clancy said.

The student and adults sustained minor non-life threatening injuries, as did one of the three occupants of the minivan, Clancy said. The child was picked up at the scene by a parent, while the three injured adults were taken to a local hospital, Clancy said.

Following the crash, the minivan driver was issued four summonses for failure to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Boulevard and Graphic Boulevard, police said.
