Vote for The Food Brigade as "Best Nonprofit" in Bergen County

Hunger-relief charity is nominated for its work in feeding local residents dealing with food insecurity

Bergen County based hunger-relief nonprofit The Food Brigade has been nominated for "Best Nonprofit Organization" in 201 Magazine's 17th annual "Best of Bergen" poll. And your vote can help get the word out about The Food Brigade's free programs and offerings for local residents in need.

Voting is easy: just go to https://njersy.co/201vote. Click the button for "Shopping & Services", then scroll down to "Best Nonprofit Organization". You will see The Food Brigade listed there among seven nominees (beneath the paid promotion/banner advertising taken out by one of the finalists). Just look for The Food Brigade at the bottom of the alphabetical list of the seven finalists, and click on the green VOTE button for The Food Brigade. Voting will determine the winner, and runs through Thursday, January 12, 2023.

In 2022, The Food Brigade fed 28,144 residents of northern New Jersey dealing with food insecurity. These neighbors in need lived in 8,621 households in 64 communities, and included 9,463 children and 3,765 senior citizens. The Food Brigade also served 1,850 disabled individuals and 311 veterans.
