WATCH: Bergen County Kid Wins $50,000 On Nickeloden

Roee Maor from Demarest, hit a soccer goal crossbar at the Nickeloden's Kids' Choice Sports 2015 awards show.

One young Bergen County soccer player is $50,000 richer.

Roee Maor, a 13-year-old from Demarest had 60 seconds and five kicks to hit the crossbar to win the money at the Nickeloden Kids’ choice Sports 2015 awards show Thursday.

Maor hit the crossbar on the first attempt. He jumped in celebration with Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson.

“I was focusing on just trying to block out everybody else who was there,” Maor told NorthJersey.com Friday morning from California. “It made me nervous, so I was just trying to focus on just getting the right shot off and using the right technique to shoot the ball.”
