Bergen County Executive James Tedesco Takes Oath of Office

Former NJ Governor Dick Codey administered the Oath of Office.

James Tedesco was sworn-in as Bergen County Executive on Jan. 4 at Paramus’ Bergen Community College.

Former NJ Governor Dick Codey administered the Oath of Office and U.S. Senator Robert Menendez, U.S. Senator Cory Booker and U.S. Congressman Bill Pascrell were scheduled to speak at the ceremony, according to press releases.

“In my administration, there will not be Democratic or Republican ideas - just good ideas,” Tedesco said at the ceremony, according to NorthJersey.com. “I will pursue any policy, regardless of where it comes from, if it is in the best interests of Bergen County.”

According to NorthJersey.com, Tedesco also vowed to reevaluate Bergen Regional Medical Center’s future.
