Bank Robber On The Loose In Morris County, Police Say

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — An investigation into a bank robbery in Morris County is currently underway, according to police.

According to authorities, the robbery occurred at the PNC Bank in Mountain Lakes, which is located at 425 Boulevard, Mountain Lakes.

The crime occurred at approximately 11:15 a.m. on Friday, police said.

The suspect did not have a weapon but was able to flee the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.

"There was no one injured or hurt during the incident, nor was there any weapon involved. One bank employee received medical attention for an unrelated condition," Mountain Lakes police said on social media.

At this time, there is believed to be no threat or danger to the public; however, the investigation is currently ongoing and no suspect has been caught.
