Boy, 18, Missing From Parsippany Since Monday: Have You Seen William?

Authorities encouraged anyone with information to call the Parsippany Police Department's tip line.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — An 18-year-old Parsippany resident has gone missing, authorities said Tuesday evening. Police asked the public for information that could lead to the whereabouts of William Young.

Young was last seen on Sept. 11, 2023, at 11:30 a.m., leaving his home in Lake Parsippany, Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll said.

He was last seen wearing a black windbreaker, black pants, a gray shirt, black shoes and black glasses, authorities said.

Police described Young as a white man, 6 feet 7 inches tall, with brown hair and blue eyes.

The Parsippany Police Department said that they have been working on this active missing person investigation with the assistance of the Morris County Prosecutor's Office Missing Persons Unit as well as outside agencies such as the New Jersey State Police Aviation Bureau and the Morris County Sheriff's Office.
