MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — A two-vehicle crash on Route 80 East left one person with serious injuries Tuesday evening in Morris County, New Jersey State Police said.

According to police spokesperson Detective Jeffrey Lebron, a Subaru SUV and a Volvo tractor-trailer were traveling eastbound on I-80 in Wharton at 7:40 p.m.

Police said that the Subaru, driven by Danielle Marushan, a 32-year-old Highland Lakes resident, abruptly slowed and stopped in the lanes of travel due to a prior car crash.
