MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — A Morris County fire captain has been sentenced to prison after police say they found child pornography in his possession.

James T. Hess, 50, of the Landing section of Mt. Arlington, was sentenced to three years in state prison on Friday, Aug. 11, according to Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll.

According to Carroll, the sentencing stems from an investigation by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, which notified the Morris County Prosecutor's Office about an apparent upload of images of child pornography.
